Privacy policy

This website sets no cookies, does without tracking, serves fonts from its own server and creates no user profiles. This page explains which data is processed anyway and what happens to it.

This is a translation of our German privacy policy (Datenschutzerklärung). The German version is legally binding.

1. Controller

The controller is the company behind the DevAbo brand:

Y&L Solutions UG (haftungsbeschränkt)
Rahnfelsstraße 10
68163 Mannheim
Germany
Email: info@dev-abo.de

2. Data protection officer

We are not required to appoint a data protection officer. We answer your questions about data protection at info@dev-abo.de.

3. Visiting the website

The website is hosted on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in a data centre in Helsinki (Finland), i.e. within the EU.

The web server writes no access logs, and the application stores no IP addresses. To protect the contact form against mass requests, it keeps the IP address in memory for no more than 15 minutes and then discards it.

To show you the right language version, the server reads the language setting your browser sends with every request (Accept-Language). If your browser prefers English over German, the server forwards you from the German to the English page, unless you come from one of our own pages. It recognises this from the origin information your browser also sends (Referer, Sec-Fetch-Site). None of this is stored.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is a secure, working website in the right language.

4. Contact form, email and phone

If you write to us using the form or by email, we process your name, your email address and the details you choose to provide (company, phone, topic, message) in order to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request is aimed at a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The form sends your details as an email to our mailbox at netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany. We delete requests once they have been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations under commercial or tax law apply. For business letters these are up to six years.

If you call our emergency number, we process your phone number and what you tell us in order to handle the incident. The legal bases are the same as for the form. We delete your phone number once the incident has been dealt with, unless it leads to an engagement.

Please do not send us passwords or credentials through the form. We arrange those securely during the project.

5. Quick check

The quick check on the home page runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are neither transmitted nor stored. Only if you add the result to your request yourself and send it do we receive it as part of your message.

6. Fonts, cookies, statistics and third-party content

Fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts come exclusively from our own server. We set no cookies and use no tool for visitor statistics or tracking. Links to other websites only open them when you click.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21). A short email to info@dev-abo.de is enough.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg (State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information), Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.

8. Automated decisions

We make no automated decisions and carry out no profiling.
